Tuesday March 8th, 2011 is Shrove Tuesday! Come receive grace, go share faith! Please come and celebrate Shrove Tuesday (also known as Fat Tuesday) with us Tuesday evening, March 8th, from 5:00 PM 'til 7:00 PM. We're having pancakes, sausage, and gravy, all prepared and served by Salem's Men's Group. (Click here to learn more about the history and meaning of Shrove Tuesday.) There will be a free will offering to benefit our Aicardi Fund, which is used to assist those with Aicardi Syndrome. Click here to learn more about Aicardi Syndrome. Directions to Salem Lutheran: Exit 235 off of I-81. Go west on Weyers Cave Rd. for 200 feet. Turn right (north) on U.S. Route 11. Go approximately one-quarter of a mile and turn left (west) on Fadley Rd. Go approximately 0.7 miles and bear to the left (south) onto Burke’s Mill Rd. Stay on Burke’s Mill for 2.4 miles until it ends at the intersection with Salem Church Rd. The church will be on the right hand side at the intersection.
